Job Description
- Assist all major surgeries independently; specialized in a particular area of surgery.
- Arrange and maintain equipment and instruments for special procedures.
- Ensure consent forms have correct patient information and are signed by the concerned authority.
- Assist surgeons to scrub in and follow aseptic measures.
- Run an OR in the absence of the In-charge with leadership qualities.
- Perform OT Operational activities independently.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping for OR cleanliness.
- Document equipment use and patient safety measures.
- Shift patients to the Recovery Room after necessary preparations.
- Communicate effectively between surgeons and OT staff.
- Perform tasks as assigned by the Head of Department.
