Job Description
Department: Commercial – Sales
We are currently seeking a highly-driven and motivated individual to join our team as a Territory Manager at foodpanda. If you are looking for an opportunity to gain hands-on exposure and make a direct impact, this might be the perfect place for you. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a significant individual contributor, capable of working independently while collaborating closely with the management team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with vendors, provide tailored-fit onboarding training manuals, and maintain regular contact.
- Responsible for onboarding various restaurants, shops, and marts at different locations nationwide.
- Collaborate proactively with the Supply, Live Operations, Sales, Account Management, and Content Teams to ensure accurate task completion within specified timelines.
- Research accounts, identify stakeholders/decision makers, and generate interest in foodpanda.
- Oversee newly onboarded vendors and improve operational excellence on various metrics.
- Develop and maximize vendor potential through onboarding and incubation support for restaurants and shops.
- Manage and resolve vendor-related inquiries, issues, and escalations.
- Collaborate with different teams to ensure a seamless vendor journey and exceptional vendor experience.
- Regularly visit the field to ensure proper onboarding of targeted shops.
- Bring strategic brands onto the foodpanda platform and ensure all categories are covered within the assigned region.
- Maintain inventory records and update salesforce accordingly.
- Provide training and support during the initial onboarding phase.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Sales/Marketing or a related business field.
- Minimum of 1 year of field sales and key account management experience.
- Prior experience in managing a field sales team.
