Job Description
A trainee system administrator is responsible for assisting in the administration and maintenance of computer systems and networks within an organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems.
- Monitoring system performance and ensuring the reliability and security of networks.
- Assisting in the implementation of disaster recovery plans and data backups.
- Providing technical support to end-users and troubleshooting issues.
- Assisting in the evaluation and recommendation of new technologies and systems.
The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in IT and possess good problem-solving skills. Basic knowledge of networking, operating systems, and software applications is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential for this role.
