Qualification:

Preferably a Master’s degree or, at least, a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree with a specialization in Information Security, Computer Science, Software Engineering, and/or an equivalent qualification from an HEC recognized university/institute or a reputable foreign University. Certified in GSOM/GSLC/CISSP/CISM/SOC equivalent security certifications.

Key Responsibilities/Required Skill Set:

• Ensure information security incident management activities in the Security Operation Center (SOC), including the effective identification of anomalies, analysis, containment, remediation, and recovery.
• Strong command of using dashboards and SOC tools.
• Perform security operations 24/7 using SOC tools such as Security Information and Management Solution (SEIM), Incident response platform, End Point Security Tools, and Secure Network Response Detection.
• Analyze threat intelligence information from multiple sources, including open source and Threat Intelligence (TI) platforms, for obtaining timely responses to remediate security incidents.
• Prepare threat intelligence reports by aggregating relevant intelligence information.
• Thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to information security and technology.
• Must have a good understanding of information security and cybersecurity technologies, tools, and best practices.
• Should be well-versed in network security, endpoint security, identity and access management, cloud security, and incident response.
• Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical information with stakeholders.
