Job Description
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a US Tax Preparer. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing US tax returns and performing a variety of accounting and administrative tasks.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate US Tax Returns, including forms: 1040 (Individual Income Tax Return), 1120 (Corporate Income Tax Return), 1120S (Income Tax Return for S Corporation), 1099’s (Miscellaneous Income)
- Conduct thorough bookkeeping duties.
- Manage and file sales tax documents.
- Handle payroll processing and compliance.
- Perform general administrative work as needed to support the team.
Qualifications:
- Good communication skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Proficiency in Pro-Series tax software is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is essential.
- Knowledgeable in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online is a plus.
Work Schedule: 10:00AM – 6:00PM EST
Rate: $600 – $800 for a start
