Job Description
We are looking for a Warehouse Manager to oversee our central warehouse operations, catering to eight grocery store locations. This role involves managing inventory levels, coordinating with vendors, overseeing stock receipt and dispatch, and ensuring timely deliveries based on branch requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all warehouse operations including inventory management and dispatch.
- Monitor inventory levels using FIFO practices to ensure freshness.
- Coordinate timely deliveries with vendors and suppliers.
- Prepare stock requests based on daily and weekly branch needs.
- Ensure that all shipments are accurately packed and documented.
- Lead a team of warehouse staff, assign tasks, and track performance.
- Maintain proper stock records and conduct periodic counts.
- Uphold safety standards and cleanliness in the warehouse.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in warehouse or inventory management, preferably in retail.
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
- Capable of handling vendor communications and logistics.
- Proficient with inventory management software.
- Attention to detail with effective problem-solving skills.
