Job Description
As our Senior WordPress Developer, you will lead the development and maintenance of WordPress websites to ensure high performance and scalability. Collaborate with a team to implement innovative features, customize themes, and oversee the entire development process. Provide mentorship, stay updated on WordPress trends, and troubleshoot issues effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Lead development and maintenance, ensuring high performance and security.
- Collaborate with designers and developers to enhance website features.
- Concepts of UI/UX experience
- Customize and extend themes/plugins to meet project requirements.
- Oversee web development from design to deployment, ensuring timely delivery.
- Provide technical guidance to junior developers.
- Stay updated on WordPress best practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, implement effective solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of WordPress development experience
- Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- Expertise in custom theme and plugin development
- Experience with optimizing third-party themes/plugins
- Understanding of web performance, security, and SEO
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
