Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain WordPress websites for clients, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and security.
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams to implement and optimize website elements.
- Customize and extend WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionality, performance, and security.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in WordPress development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1 to 1.5 years) working with WordPress and its ecosystem.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.
- Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Knowledge of popular WordPress themes and plugins.
- Understanding of web security best practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with page builders like Elementor or Beaver Builder.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms and payment gateways.
- Basic knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Version control using Git.
