Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a Lead/Senior WordPress Developer who will be responsible for the WordPress arm of the business, its projects and output. The successful candidate will be responsible for back-end, and front-end development as well as team management and quality assurance for WordPress websites, both bespoke and template.
This position requires technical programming skills, forward-thinking, and attention to detail. Experience with responsive and adaptive design, content management systems, and the entire web development process is preferred.
The role involves managing the development team, project management, building websites, designing architecture, integrating CRM’s, testing software, troubleshooting, and more.
Responsibilities include team management, project management, website development, API writing, testing, troubleshooting, and more.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar field
- Proven work experience as a WordPress developer
- Knowledge of front-end technologies like CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, jQuery, and PHP
- Experience with code versioning tools and debugging tools
- Understanding of website architecture and aesthetics
- Good project management and communication skills
