Job Description
The 10-Wheeler Truck Driver position at Megawide Construction Corporation will require the following responsibilities:
- Operate, maneuver, and control the transport equipment specifically 10-wheeler cargo dropside truck.
- Check all related documentation pre and post trip or rental activity and accurately file all documents.
- Check load specifications and configurations to determine proper lashing accessories to be used.
- Clean and maintain the equipment assigned to him/her.
- Assist in loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
- Check the vehicle and conduct pre-operation checklist before usage.
- Ensure the safety of the cargo prior to transportation.
- Obey and observe traffic rules and regulations and follow traffic procedures.
- Follow the prescribed journey management plan.
- Report delays, accidents, apprehensions, and other transportation situations or rental activity.
- Be aware of the truck route in NCR, particularly in Metro Manila.
- Have knowledge in basic troubleshooting.
- Be familiar with Boom and Truck Components.
- Be aware of “BLOWBAGETS” and know when to do it.
Qualifications:
- Taytay based but willing to be transferred to different project sites.
- At least 2 years of experience.
- Driver’s License code: 1, 2, 3.
