Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Constantly review and monitor logistics and warehouse operating flow, procedures, and recommend effective improvement initiatives for performance enhancement.
- Responsible for inventory planning and control, overall warehouse management, and logistics operations.
- Responsible for receiving, identifying, dispatching, and assuring quality and quantity of goods as against product standards and delivery receipts.
- Organize and maintain inventory and storage area.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of shipments and inventory transactions; assess shipment transactions.
- Delivers supplies, products, and packaging materials to departments concerned.
- Review timeliness of scheduled deliveries.
- Track inventory levels by conducting regular physical counts and reconcile variances.
- Inputting data and prepare related reports to assess warehouse status.
- Order new products, supplies/packaging materials in a timely manner to ensure adequate product supply.
- Perform functions related to logistics operations, such as orders processing, invoicing & logistic arrangement to fulfill customer/client orders.
- Coordinate inward shipments and outbound transportation schedules.
- Verification of the freight inwards/outwards invoices.
Qualifications:
- College graduate, any business course
- With at least 2 to 3 years work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, and/or as Logistics Officer
- Must have working knowledge of Quick Books or other warehouse software packages
- With strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Highly effective supervisory skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
- Skilled in inventory planning and control, process re-engineering, overall warehouse management, and logistics operations
