Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper Virtual Assistant to join our team. As a Bookkeeper VA, you will be responsible for handling various bookkeeping tasks remotely, ensuring the accurate recording and management of financial transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Prepare and issue invoices to clients.
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursement.
- Monitor and track company expenses, ensuring compliance with budgetary guidelines.
- Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with tax preparation and filing as needed.
- Communicate regularly with team members to ensure financial records align with business activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles and practices.
- Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
