Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyzes existing operations and recommends suggestions for improvement.
- Conducts constant site visits to check and ensure that everything is running smoothly.
- Reports any issues and concerns that require urgent attention to the Farm Manager.
- Monitors production yield and ensures compliance with regulatory agencies.
- Prepares and plans strategies to increase farm production through coordination with different area heads and managers. Ensures management understands set targets.
- Assists with the hiring and training of newly hired production employees.
- Ensures that employees adhere to health and safety standards.
- Imposes discipline and monitors staff performance. Reports any violations for disciplinary action.
- Coordinates with different departments regarding maintenance, deliveries, marketing, and other concerns.
- Plans and prepares reports and sets up budgets for various farm activities.
- Ensures farm equipment is properly maintained.
- Keeps records of production, farm practices, and recommends suggestions for improvement.
- Performs other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education/Certification:
- A graduate of BS Agriculture or Animal Science or any related course
- Required Skills:
- Extensive knowledge and skills in managing farm operations
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Applications
- Experience Required:
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience
