Job Description
Principal Responsibilities
- Design and develop standardized MIS systems to ensure effective, accurate and reliable reporting. Deal with all business locations like branches, area offices and the functions to meet reporting and data requirements.
- Develop reports in OBIEE based on user-provided format, review results for any variance, validate and ensure data authenticity of reports as per user expectation and business need.
- Analyze business requirements considering technical & functional aspects and suggest optimized and reliable solutions for effective reporting. Also, accountable for technical development, implementation, and support of the reporting solutions.
- Data extraction using SQL and PLSQL scripting to respond ad-hoc data queries from different business users. For efficient reporting, design and develop database structure to handle high volume complex data demands of users by processing and pooling data using stored procedures in the reporting database.
- Identify key performance areas and develop a dashboard in OBIEE for management and major users of different business functions to present their desired information in graphical form on a single screen and enable them to interact with it by filtering data as desired. Train users for using the dashboard effectively and efficiently to get value from the developed product they need.
- Responsibility over design, development, and delivery of OBIEE application including OBI Metadata Models, OBI Repository, report sharing/publishing, interpret requirements, performs highly complex analyses and present options and recommendations to obtain desired results. Provides data models from business systems planning and data requirements planning.
