Job Description
An Assistant Network Administrator plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and functionality of an organization’s computer network. Working closely with the Network Administrator, the Assistant Network Administrator helps in designing, implementing, and managing the network infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation and configuration of network hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal network functionality.
- Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring network security and data integrity.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of network policies and procedures.
- Provide technical support and resolve network-related issues for end-users.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, such as TCP/IP, Ethernet, and VLAN.
- Proficiency in network administration tools, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
