Job Description
As an Equity Research Analyst, your role involves in-depth analysis of financial data and market trends to provide insights and recommendations to clients, investors, and fund managers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research for customers and fund managers, offering reliable data for stock market decisions.
- Explore investment ideas through company visits, interviews, and operational surveys. Stay informed about global economic news.
- Evaluate and compare securities within industries, assessing their quality and recommending investment decisions.
- Analyze industry impacts from new products, processes, and competition.
- Assess past performance, financial positions, and management effectiveness of companies.
- Deliver concise reports, valuation statistics, and strategic advice to clients and fund managers.
Qualifications:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in a four-year program, preferably in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Possess 2-3 years of experience in a Research Department of a Stockbrokerage Firm or Investment House.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Capital Markets, encompassing both local and global debt and equity markets, as well as a proficient knowledge of Economies and Politics.
- Proficient in arithmetic and computational reasoning, with keen clerical perception.
