Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will be managing the purchase of both direct materials and indirect items, overseeing relationships with suppliers, and ensuring the quality of goods. Additionally, it includes handling logistics activities for transporting goods from vendors to the company.

Responsibilities:

• Sourcing: Efficiently manage sourcing and category practices, identify reliable suppliers, partner with trustworthy vendors, devise negotiation strategies, communicate with stakeholders, and analyze procurement costs to suggest expenditure reduction methods.
• Procurement: Collaborate on supplier co-selection for optimal quality and terms. Conduct negotiations, manage disputes, and implement risk management. Optimize the supplier panel, ensure regulatory compliance, create accurate purchase orders, analyze invoices, and drive continuous improvement.
• Supply Planning, Direct Materials and Indirect Purchases: Coordinate with hubs for optimal direct purchases, aligning forecasts and stock levels. Streamline indirect purchases with ROI analysis, compliance, and end-to-end process management. Monitor inventory flow, collaborate with the inventory controller, and work closely with departments to prioritize requirements.
• Logistics: Optimize freight paths, incoterms, and assist in PEZA and Customs clearances for financially viable, on-time deliveries with no quality loss. Implement strategic initiatives to achieve optimum costs.

Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree and with at least 4–5 years of experience in a similar or equivalent position.
• Exposure to a production environment with high standards.
• Strong industry and market knowledge.
• Successful experience in a multicultural environment, preferably in a group with foreign subsidiaries.
• Exceptional negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport.
• Willingness and ability to meet vendors and suppliers as necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Php70,00.00 per month
