Responsibilities
- Oversees the development and implementation of risk policies and procedures in an organization.
- Coordinates across all business lines to assist in identification, monitoring, and reporting of risks taken throughout the organization.
- Perform tracking and reporting on strategy implementations and validating post-implementation.
- Report high-risk issues and risk levels to Executives and Board of Directors (BOD) on a regular basis.
- Calculate and communicate risk scoring per department.
- Proactively seek and recommend enhancements to processes and development.
- Provide mentoring and coaching to newly hired and/or existing Risk associates and officers.
Qualifications
- At least 7-10 years of work experience in risk management including risk control assessment and testing, audit acquired from banking or financial services companies.
- Detailed-oriented and strong presentation skills.
- Can interface with people across all levels.
